At Hairwaxshop, we believe it is important that you are satisfied with your order. Below you can find information about returns, the right of withdrawal and refunds.

2. Right of Withdrawal – 14 Days
As a consumer, when making an online purchase, you generally have the right to withdraw from your order within 14 days without giving a reason.
The 14-day period begins on the day after you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receives the order.
If you have ordered multiple products that are delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins in accordance with the applicable statutory rules after you have received the final product.
3. How to Notify Us of a Return
If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, please send a clear statement to us within the statutory withdrawal period:

Where possible, please include:
- your name;
- order number;
- which products you are returning;
- date of order;
- date of receipt;
- your email address.
You do not have to provide a reason for the return.
You may also use the statutory model withdrawal form. Its use is not mandatory.
4. Returning the Product
After notifying us that you are withdrawing from the agreement, you must return the product without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us.

We recommend returning the package using a shipping method with Track & Trace and keeping your proof of postage.
5. Return Costs
The direct costs of returning a product are borne by the consumer, unless Hairwaxshop has stated in advance that it will cover these costs or the law provides otherwise.
If you return only part of your order, the original shipping costs will not automatically be fully refunded.
In the event of a complete withdrawal, the original standard shipping costs will be refunded to the extent required by law.
If you selected a more expensive shipping method than the cheapest standard delivery option when placing your order, only the cost of the cheapest standard delivery will be refunded.
6. Condition of the Product
You may inspect and assess a product in the same way as you would be permitted to do in a physical store.
You are liable for any reduction in the value of the product if you use or handle it beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.
We therefore recommend returning products as unused as possible, complete and in their original packaging.
7. Hygiene Products and Sealed Products
For certain products, the statutory right of withdrawal may be excluded for reasons of health protection or hygiene.
This may apply, for example, to a product that:
- was delivered sealed;
- has been opened after delivery;
- is unsuitable for resale due to health or hygiene reasons.
Where a statutory exception applies, this will be clearly stated before or during the ordering process.
Simply removing a product from its packaging does not automatically mean that the right of withdrawal has expired. The applicable statutory conditions determine whether the exception applies.
8. Damaged or Incorrectly Delivered Products
Have you received a damaged, defective or incorrect product? Please contact us as soon as possible:
Please include your order number and, where possible, clear photographs.
We will assess the situation and look for an appropriate solution.
Your statutory rights regarding defective or incorrectly delivered products remain fully applicable.
9. Refunds
Following a valid withdrawal, we will refund the payment received in accordance with the applicable statutory rules.
The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the original payment, unless you expressly agree to another payment method.
We may wait with the refund until:
- we have received the returned product; or
- you have provided evidence that you have returned the product;
whichever occurs first.
In the event of a complete withdrawal, the original standard shipping costs will also be refunded to the extent required by law.
10. Business Orders
The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applies to consumers.
For business customers and orders placed on behalf of a business, the statutory consumer right of withdrawal does not automatically apply.
Separate return arrangements may be agreed with business customers.
11. Returns from Abroad
Customers outside the Netherlands may also exercise the statutory right of withdrawal where it applies to their purchase.
The costs and conditions for returning products from abroad may vary. In principle, the consumer is responsible for the direct return costs, unless otherwise agreed or required by law.
12. Online Withdrawal
Where Hairwaxshop is required by applicable law to provide an online withdrawal function, consumers may use the designated function on the website.
Consumers retain the right to notify Hairwaxshop of their withdrawal in another legally permitted manner.
